DAVID EDMONSON was majoring in art at college when he also discovered photography and his two passions fused. For the next 10 years, David focused professionally on magazines and record labels-dynamic ground for a young artist eager to capture fresh images. National and international awards poured in. By the time he founded his own studio, David had added wedding photography and was attracting brides wanting stand-out memories.

"It's like a turn of phrase or piece of music that stays with you," David says. "Every image needs to say something that lasts."

LUKE EDMONSON was three years old when his dad first placed a camera in his hands-which is to say that he can't remember a time when he wasn't in his father's studio absorbing photography. In college, he majored in film. In the ten years since, he has served advertising and commercial clients, art directed for clients such as Dell, SamsungUSA, and JCPenny, and is quickly making his mark in wedding photography.

"The truth is, most women these days don't want a big picture of themselves hanging in the house," Luke said. "But if it's artistic, if friends notice the photo before they realize who it is, it's about pleasure and pride."

Luke's work shows his acumen with technology and a gift for working with people. His wedding photos tend to showcase a moment as it happens-frequently fun and playful. Besides commercial photography, Luke's documentary storytelling has taken him across America, Europe, and Northwest Africa.
