Emma flew in from Seattle, Washington to meld. Vermeer had several shots where people were reading letters, and so this is a sweet letter from her love. Vermeer never blew out his windows, but he also never actually showed details outside his windows either. That was one of the distinct styles I was trying to accomplish here.
